Assistant Wrestling Coach Chuck Lindsay

Coach Lindsay started his wrestling career in 1990 by debuting as 189 pounder for the Hawks at St. Joseph’s Prep. Having never come up through the Jr. Varsity ranks, Coach Lindsay learned the ropes the hard way. He finished his high school career with 28-20 record and an extreme appreciation for the sport.

During Coach Lindsay’s career behind the bench at St. Joe’s he experienced some of the greatest wrestling moments of his life including an undefeated season and a Catholic League championship in 1997.  As a young assistant coach those moments stay with you forever.

Coach Lindsay has been an assistant wrestling coach for 2 years at East High School.  During the off season Coach Lindsay serves as the Head Coach for the Lady Vikings Softball team. 

When not involved in a school activity Coach Lindsay is called Dad at home by his two daughters Samantha and Sara.  Coach Lindsay has been married to his wife Jennifer for over 10 years.    

For those of you fortunate enough to have met Coach Lindsay, you know we’re correct when we call him our “Unemployed Comedian”.  Thanks Coach for making everyone laugh!!
